genderCC - Women for Climate Justice

Since several years women and their organisations or lobbying for the consideration of gender justice in UN Climate Change negotiations. The network genderCC - Women for Gender Justice was organised, coordinated by genanet. For the first time we are able to bring a delegation of women from various regions of the world to the next UN Climate Change Conference, taking place in Bali in December. They will lobby for the implementation of the UN decisions on gender equality into the UNFCCC negotiations. The women's activities are possible due to funding by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
