MOMENTUM FOR CHANGE: WOMEN FOR RESULTS
On March 8, the International Women’s Day, the UNFCCC Secretariat launched the call for applications for Momentum for Change: Women for Results.
In the run-up to the negotiations of the UN-Convention on Biological Diversity taking place in Bonn/Germany from May 19-30, the "Planet Diversity" will bring together representatives from local and regional grassroots movements and institutions working on food and agricultural tradition, innovation and reconciliation based upon cultural and biological diversity. The gender perspective will be adressed in two workshops.
During the CBD there will be a regular Women's caucus: the first women's meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 19, at 14:00, in the German Ministry of Environment, Robert-Schumann-Platz 3, room 0174 (opposite the Maritim Hotel where the CBD will take place).
