Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many events have been and will be cancelled or will take place exclusively online. At the same time many webinars are offered, which we would like to point out here - as far as we have been informed in time. We also refer to calls for papers for journals.
Third European Gender Equality Week
From October 24 to 30, the European Parliament will hold its third European Gender Equality Week. Several parliamentary committees and delegations are organizing meetings to address gender equality issues in their respective policy areas. Among others, the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy will discuss gender inequalities in the energy sector, and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality will hold several events, including the presentation of a study on the gender dimension and impact of the "Fit for 55" package.
Following the European Week for Equality between Women and Men, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), which supports this initiative, is planning a series of thematic debates organized by the various sections. For example, the Section for Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and the Information Society (TEN) is planning a debate on 'Women in energy poverty' on 9/11/2022.

Call for Papers: Nature-Society Relations and the Global Environmental Crisis – Thinking on Climate Change and Sustainability from the Fields of Intersectional Theory and Transdisciplinary Gender Studies
The conference “Nature-Society Relations and the Global Environmental Crisis – Thinking on Climate Change and Sustainability from the Fields of Intersectional Theory and Transdisciplinary Gender Studies” approaches the topic from sociological, legal, geographical, economic, political, and cultural studies perspectives. Here, theoretical analyses of the hierarchical relationship between humans and the more-than-human world and the potent gender order inscribed in it are complemented by empirical studies on sociological, legal, economic and political aspects of specific entanglements of human and non-human agency.
